Sunday School

The Sunday School is open to children Preschool through 8th grade. Classes are held on Sundays from 10:15-11:00 AM during the school year.

Youth Instruction Class

This is a three year course of basic instruction in the teachings of the Bible. It is open to all students in the 6th-8th grades. Classes generally meet Tuesdays during the school year.

Adult Bible Study

The Adult Bible Study group meets on Sundays from 10:15-11:00 AM during the school year. It is open to anyone 9th grade and above.

Adult Information Classes

Adult Bible Information Classes are available by appointment and present the basic teachings of the Bible to adults wishing to learn more about Scripture or about our church. Contact Pastor David Schaller if you are interested in these sessions.

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is open to students Preschool through 8th grade. Our next VBS sessions will be held in the summer of 2020.

Lower Michigan Youth Camp

Hosted by our congregation and others in Michigan, a church camp for youth entering grades 6-12 is held each summer at Pigeon Creek County Park in West Olive, MI. The next camp is scheduled for July 20-23, 2020. Information and registration is now available.

Ladies of Redeemer

The Ladies of Redeemer generally hold quarterly women’s fellowship nights that are announced in advance. Gatherings include Bible devotions, refreshments, and other activities and presentations.

About Our Pastor

Pastor David Schaller is a 1999 graduate of Immanuel Lutheran Seminary in Eau Claire, WI. He has served Redeemer of Sister Lakes for the past 19 years. He is also the temporary pastor at Rock of Ages Lutheran in Byron Center (Grand Rapids), MI. Besides these local ministries, he writes for The Lutheran Spokesman, and Journal of Theology, as well as serving on the CLC Worship Committee. Married with three children, his hobbies include music, computer programming, and watching his children’s youth soccer matches.
